After many weeks of waiting, hoping, and praying We got the word that Dalya was getting the green light to come home. Â We would not have the terrific nurses to hold our hands anymore. Â Dalya would be in our care 24-hours-a Day. That meant every diaper change every feeding and every wonderful moment.
After a few last minute touches to make sure the house was spotless and clean we left Yogi to enjoy her last hours of peace and silence.
At the hospital Amy gets Dalya into her “going home outfit” Â The outfit is the same exact one that Amy wore when she came home from the hospital!!! Â Grandma Penny saved it all these years. Â Thanks Grandma.
Next we get all the discharge papers and head home.
